I'm Jessica — a design professional with 15+ years of experience in the design and construction industry - and I want you to know what I know.
My passion for design and transforming spaces started early. Through exploration and curiosity, I've built a career of diverse influences and education. I want to transform those experiences into solutions to help others achieve their goals.
Graduating with a degree in Architecture from Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, California, and studying in Copenhagen, Denmark, I went to work as a Designer in the residential sector. I then returned to school and achieved my Masters of Arts degree from London Metropolitan University. After returning to the States, I continued working in the residential, commercial, and retail sectors.
My experience as a Designer and Project Manager transitioned to becoming an Owner's Representative, working on the client's behalf to manage the design and construction phases of their project.
My search for a long term community brought me to the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.
Living in Asheville, North Carolina and working for a local construction firm as Design + Build Manager, I expanded my knowledge to include building in various types of topography and site conditions.
The expertise I've gained from my roles in the architecture and construction industries has placed me in a prime position to offer my services as JAC Design + Build.
